Unflooding a sled

i would NOT EVER put starting fluid in my sled. i have seen things blowd up with ether. FAR more volatile than gas........can be bad ju ju.

If the 'case has gas in it, typically means the float(s) are stuck down, allowing gas to fil the bowl completely and run thru the carb(s) into the 'case.
Or could just be a piece of debris holding the needle(s) open a little. Either way, pull the carbs and inspect the float, arm, needle, and seat.
Another problem w/ the Pol Keihin carbs, is sometimes the choke fuel circuit is stuck and keps choking the engine (adding fuel) even when the lever is off.
Pull choke cables and plungers out and make sure they're not damaged or stuck.

hold the throttle wide open and throw a new set of plugs in it

Ill bet you cant get it started now because it fouled a plug again.

Put another set in, modulate the throttle until its half way warm and run it on a jackstand.

Vrooooooooooooom.

that did it, i just put two brand new plugs in it, viola started right up.

What I usually do is just tell my brother to start his own sled.
