Anyone running the carbon bars in cold temps? I ordered the new 3 model that came out 2 weeks ago but was thinking they might not be the best idea for snowbiking. Anyone using them?

Wouldn't worry, Yeti bet the farm with their carbon fiber skid that's taking way more abuse than your bars will.

Couple companies making skis out of CF.

Solid Point. I'll email the manufacturer anyway.. might as well get their impression on low temps. I'll post the reply when I get it.

Thanks

I've run them on my bike and never had any problems all the way down to -20c. I am a light guy and no big jumps or drops. The guy at the company told me they are tested on snowbikes and no issues. And also note mine are from the original production, so I am sure they are now better!

I have the 3x model on my dirtbike and would have no reservations about putting them on my snowbike

A ton, and the flex reduces arm pump... Also heat doesn't get lost to them if you run hand warmers. Twisted replied, tested to 75 below F. Snowbiking with them is not an issue. Cant wait to get me gen 3 Windham bend in 3x flex .

The heat loss with aluminum bars is real. Huge difference. Haven't tried the twisted cf bars but sounds good.
