Twelve Days of Christmas??????

Anybody heard anything of the $40,000 in prizes Snowest is giving away? Seems to me like we should be starting the Twelve Days of Christmas by now, and that SOMEBODY would have announced that they were an excited winner.

We're working on it even as I type. I'm in the process of drawing 100 winners ... but when you're picking from about 250,000 names off multiple lists, it takes some time to sort through the lists to make sure everyone has an opportunity to win.

Out of curiosity...Are you saying that you are drawing all the winners now? In the rules it says that the deadline for entries is Dec. 31. Here's where I see this in the rules:


2. The contest will be conducted August 23 through December 31, 2011. Deadline for entries is December 31, 2011. Selected winners will be notified by mail or email. Correct information is critical in order to reach winners. SnoWest Magazine's decisions concerning all matters related to this contest are final. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.


So...how does that work? Are you only counting entries before the 22nd now and not going by the Dec 31st date in the rules. What if someone renewed their membership say tomorrow...would they get entered in the raffle for all 12 days, the remaining days of the contest or no chance at all as you've drawn all the winners already???

We are still gathering names ... and we will be selecting winners through Jan. 1. However, we needed to get the lion's share done now since the winners needed to be posted starting Dec. 21. So by the end of the day you should see the winners for Dec. 21, 22 and 23. And then more names will be posted each day up to Jan. 1.

About as flawed as that intruding SnoWest picture of the week banner on the right side of the screen? Like any of us on here need to know that there is a picture of the week???
