noticed yesterday my tunnel on both side's where my feet sit, was kinked or tweaked a little. a little bow in the aluminum.

i was thinking of removing the black braces on the rear part of the tunnel and making a full side template of 1/16th aluminum and extending up to the most forward part of the foot well's.

what do you guy's think?

any better ideas?

thanks in advance

Any pics? What type riding? NorthEast is in need of snow, been doing alot of trail riding on the new 163". I'm worried about bending something on a whooped out trail.

You might try attaching an aluminum 1"x1"x3/16" angle with the horizontal leg on top of your floor boards and the vertical leg turned up and against the side of your tunnel. On the inside of the tunnel you could use a 1" x 1/8" aluminum flat bar. Use countersunk 1/8" x 3/4" or 1/8" x 1/2" stainless steel beveled head bolts at 1 1/2" on center with stainless steel nylon lock nuts. Retighten as needed. Round down or taper the ends of the angle in order to keep it from tearing your boots up. Extend this whole system as far forward as the toe rest allows and towards the rear until it would almost hit the track on the inside. Allow a couple inches of clearance to the track. Since the flat bar should not be near your track, install the countersunk stove bolts from the outside.

This is preliminary and a prototype has not actually been constructed.

Anyone know what causes this? Seems like it's common. Is it from wheeling hard and the back of the tunnel hitting the snow??
