Selling my engine and turbo kit to make way for a new summer project!

Im going to sell it as a complete drop in unit, engine/carbs/mpem/pipe/turbo, the whole balll of wax. Asking $6k for the works.

how much for the turbo kit? what comes with it if you are willing to sell it seperate from the motor? any probs. with it? reliability? thanks

Dont really want to split it up. Its all coming out of the sled and i want it all to leave the shop, too many spare parts kicking around as it is, plus the twin wont do me any good for parts when i have the tripple.

No problems with it, works fine but i didnt get a whole lot of riding in this year so i cant say for sure how the long term reliability is. It runs 8psi @ sea level on avgas/c12 mix, CPI claims its pumpgas safe at altitude (yet they stilll run avgas, better safe than sorry!)

Only reason im selling it is to make room for the tripple project!

cool thanks for the info! i would liuke to get into a turbo project for my sled but i dont think i have anywhere near the know how yet. im thinkin it would be quite the learning curve. but thanks for the info!

Engine might be sold.

$3800 for the turbo kit including the carbs and boyesen rage cages. Its pretty much brand new!

Hey. Didnt get to talk to you on how you made out with your clutching. Just wondering if you would sell just the kit. I have a 800R so i dont really want to drop in a HO as id need the computer and everything. Does it include the clutching and such.

i will sell the kit seperate. But the clutch stays with me!

I did manage to get it set up for 5psi. It took as much weight as my pins could hold to keep the rpms right. If you wanted to run anything more you will need some heavy pins or a heavier spring.

Not sure how it will work on the 800R, i though they were having problems with the 3drave's on them... I would talk to CPI first if you were serious about it.

Either way, if the motor goes, the mpem is going with it. Its not going to do me any good on my next project!
