hey there guys, seeing as the winter up here is pretty much gone, what do you guys do to put your beast to bed for the quadding season?
anything specific to worry about for the turbo itself?
this is my first year with boost, and i'd like to have that rediculously fun power again come the first ride in 6 months'ish....:face-icon-small-hap

-Drain any race fuel or avgas and fill it with non ethanol premium.

-The turbo oil tank collects a lot of moisture, change the oil and run the sled long enough to pump the new fuel and oil.

-Don't be afraid to start it once a month and let the heat exchangers get hot, this keeps fresh oil in the turbo bearings etc.

Avgas won't break down or lose octane. Always summer it with av if you can. If you do use premium, put Star Tron ethanol treatment in it. That will help stabilize your fuel for the summer.

Just curious, why would you drain AV Gas? AV Gas doesn't break down like normal gas and can be stored longer without issues.

I also agree with the majority and store my turbo sleds with Ave gas with a little Pre mix .
I also drain and refill the turbo oil tank and run the engines a couple times during the summer.
Stored with the drive belts off the clutches in my shed out off the sun and rain.
In fact I store all my sleds Turbo or not with drained fuel tanks then add 4 liters of Pre Mix Ave Gas. ( I have 8 sleds and told i have an ADDICTION ) :face-icon-small-hap
May not be right but that is what I do . Works for me.
Up here in North Central Saskatchewan we can get snow almost every month so my sleds do not get stored for too many constitutive months.:face-icon-small-coo

I just change the turbo oil, Top off the oil tank and fill it up with fuel. I have never had a problem. I thing some people overthink this stuff. They only sit for 6 months or less around here.
