Turbo setup questions

Hey guys,
New to the turbo scene.
07 m8 with aero race gas running 9lbs, attitude box and head has been milled for 110ll, dalton clutching ect ect. It was set at the shop for elevation. fuel pressure is at 41. I am trying to setup for 2000ft (home) and then run it back in the same at elevation. The boys told me not to touch the box and just turn the fuel rail pressure up 4lbs. I followed there advice and it pulls like a monster on boost but down low its very angry at me and loads up. If I idle and then punch it it seems to almost die. I ran it back down to 41 and it cleaned up a bit but Im afraid Ill be too lean at the top. Of course I then had to mess with the box and now Im not tuned worth a crap. I just put a whole new top end in it so I would rather not find our the hard way. Egt at cruise are at about 1000 to 1100 pulling WOT about the same and down low Im at 900ish.
Anyone have any settings that are working good at 2000ish and elevation?
Thank in advance.

I can just tell you my situation i have no idea about your kit.

I live at 1000ft and ride up to 11000 ft out west. I run it at 40- 41 psi @ home then when I go west my fuel pressure drops a few pounds with the gain in alt. I don't usually adj. Fuel pressure and I have to take away a light or two in PL BOX @home home and add a light or two up high. I run a push kit hope this helps ya.
