turbo question

i got a 900 rmk if i buys a turbo or suppercharger will i have to do anthing with the motor or do anything with anything elsh or can i just leave my sled stock and put the turbo or suppercharger on.

Lots of variables here...

IMO, there is no way to build a good, reliable turbo 900 on a budget. Figure an Easy $6000 for the turbo plus any suspension upgrades and engine repairs or updates.

To turbo the sled...the engine must be in Pristine condition, motor mouts, torque stops/arms, fuel injectors, etc etc etc... all must be top notch if you want it to be reliable.

Are you on a budget?

How many miles on the motor?

What year is the sled?

How many miles on the pistons? (If it is a 2005... the pistons should have been upgraded to the the 2006s)

What is the crank shaft runout?

A turbo sled really is more controllable with an afermarket rear suspension...

Plus the cost of race gas everytime you fill up.
