Turbo Pro's and stock drivers

Are the stock drivers holding up under every day boost conditions from say 6psi up to 12psi? Just curious if guys are seeing the need to switch to Avids or if you keep an eye on your track tension are you getting away with stock with out ratcheting?

If ya adjust it to factory spec (really tight imho) stock drivers have worked ok so far, but i'll probably switch to wahl of avids when I pull the driveshaft.

Tracks much tighter than I have been running them when you go by the book for adjustment. If its not that tight it will ratchet

I run at 1000ft river running and anything over 4.5 PSI the drivers are jumping and I have the track very tight..I have Avids on the way with a 136 x 1 3/4" track

so far as long as you keep the track good'n tight ratcheting isn't an issue...avids and a Power claw are on the future mods list.

With the stock track, the drivers are fine under boost as long as the track is set to the proper tension. I rarely have any ratcheting unless I hit a stump or something.

If you change the track though, I would get some better drivers at the same time.

No problems with my pro 155" so far at 9PSI boost track is set to factory 1/2" slack with 10 lbs of weight. I am running the Camo peak track though with full clips and have nnot ratcheted yet.

Keep it tight and no problems, 1500 miles on my '11 and 200 miles on the '12, I've tightened the track twice so far.

Actually ordered a 7 tooth set from Robbie on Thursday. That being said, I've got a brand new set of stockers to sell now I guess LOL

stock drivers work, but who want's to run there track super tight. if you can afford different drivers GET THEM!

I have a silber kit on a switchback with the 136" i'm only running 5PSI and the track will jump the drivers I have the track as tight as it will go...I think its just the way that suspensions couples compared to the RMK is what makes the difference

Are your drivers completely rounded off or what? If it's tight at that boost, there must be another issue.

I haven't even look at the drivers just going to install the AVIDS they may be rounded from the first few times it happened..But the track tension when I first installed the turbo was in spec. maybe it may has something to do with the way the 136" suspension couples under load.
