Turbo Nytro 162 gearing

Has anyone tried different gearing than stock. My sled definitely pulls out of the hole better in the deep snow but seems to have lost top end with the bigger track. Thinking of gearing it down and wondering if anyone else has done it, with what results. Running 15-16lbs.

Stock gearing is 20 on top and 40 on bottom. If you have reverse I am told its better to change the top gear.

I changed to a 18 on top. It spins my 162X16x2.5 challenger extreme very well.

Chutching is Voodoo. The clutching Gurus are Kings amoung men.

My clutching is good, my rpm is good. Just a question to see what other guys have done before I try gearing, lower gearing will give cooler clutches and may work even better. You can always make small improvements. :D

boost

Yes, I am running 12 lbs but I felt I needed a lower gear, due to my inability to put down my beer (I weight 260 dry)
