Turbo intake temps Sidekick

I am looking to see what intake temps people are seeing with the Boondocker intake shown on page 18 of the instructions. I decided to go the route of a BDX PROMAX induction hood with a BD Snorkel intake mounted directly to the turbo.

I drilled a hole in the silicone part and mounted my sensor in the snorkel, so I know I am seeing actual air temps entering the turbo. The lowest temps I see are in the 70's when I am up to temp in the engine compartment, and steady on the throttle. I am betting after I install a MTNTK Blow Hole with the BDX hood combination, that the temps will be even lower in the engine compartment and turbo inlet. I am thinking that the heat from the exhaust pipe rising and warming the BD plenum is going to create hotter intake temps than what I am seeing now. Please share your results.

If you don't already know by pressing and holding the lower left button on the cluster it will turn on the number and bar graph for each of the functions.
