Is there any T-Apex gurus along the front range that can help me out with my new Apex? I have cash and could use some knowledge:face-icon-small-win

The closest I can think of is Mountain tech yammy in Buena Vista. Sean knows turbos.

Other than that you have G-Force in Lakewood---but I can't say how good they are.

What are you looking for?

I cant seem to make sense of the powderlites controller. The guy I bought it from gave me a "cheat sheet" but no manual(cant find one on line either). At idle its 14.3, and above 3k, she goes FULL rich-10.2- and I cant seem to make the controller change anything.

My best advice to you is get a boost-it kit if you want it to run like it should day after day. At least get an rb3. There not perfect but alot better. Another thing to check is your 02 sensor to make sure its giving accurate readings since messing with the powderlites box isn't affecting anything.

I did the o2 sensor test and the old one failed. I just installed the new one today and it works just fine. But, as soon as I give 'er a little juice, it goes FULL rich, 10.2 +- on the AFR and the fumes in my trailer tell me the same thing:painkiller:

boost it kit runs around 1500 is what i paid last year. tuning wise on the rb3 i would need your maps and all mods done and which turbo kit turbo and turbo size and i can get u somewhat in the ballpark with stock injectors and pump gas 12 lb map. it won't be prefect cause rb3 is pretty damn hard to get right and the fact that u don't know whats happening when u ride other than your gauges and what u feel by the seat of your pants

He's not running the rb3. He's got the old powderlites box with lights. Id give dave w/ powderlites a call and see what he says. If you come to the conclusion the box may be bad I have a powderlites box im not using. Boost it runs about $1700 and an extra 200 for electronic boost controller built into the box

EFI control box

control box has 6 modes with different colors lights for each function

1-(green) low end cruise circuit olny, above 2600 rpm, stock dash CO adjust for idle, and below 2600 rpm

2- (yellow) accelerator circuit

3 - (red) main jet

4- (green/blue) boost fuel + or - when on boost

5- (yellow/blue) lower switch point of yellow accelerator circuit

6- (red/blue) lower switch point of main jet- means lowering rpm at which red comes on

here are some base line setting

1=2.5
2=2.5
3=3.5-5.0 depending on sled
4=3.5-5.0 depending on sled
5=5.0
6=2.0

are you running a different elevation now than where the sled came from if so that is your issue you have to lower your last 2 setting & ajust the elevation setting.that is just a pureloggic box they are known for issues water in them causes big issues is it siliconed where the wires go in the box.

I have a copy of this, but my controller is not "showing" the colors properly. At idle, one flashing green. When I push the mode button, two yellows come up, but I cant move them up or down-there's no change. Im gonna call Sean at MTNTECH tomorrow. The sled was riding and set-up for 10k and 12lbs(boondocker side mount). Im going to Island Park in one week and need to be able to adjust it for the lower elevations. As you look at the controller it's minus on the left and plus on the right. Common sense would say that the "plus" side would be richer, ie more fuel, and the minus less. Correct?

as mentioned before moisture is prob in the box take it apart and see. there alot used controllers out there for sale on ty several used parts guys have them for sale right now.
