what is stronger CR or VE ??? and i have heard that VE tunnels are rather difficult to install on an apex , any feedback from anyone ? i really like the look of the VE tunnels but im after what is going to be strongest and would like it if i didnt have to fight to much to get it installed......feedback and opinions would be REALLY appreciated...

I don't know which are strongest, but I'm 300+ with gear and my Cr tunnel does not flex at all. Chad also is one of the best in the customer service department. Super easy to install as well.

The VEs look real nice but I havent been able to get any info from them its kind of like they will only deal with certain people ,so im sending my bis elswere..

yeah thats for sure, ive emailed them a few times with no replies and ive even called once and no one picked up the phone....fawkers.

Yeah I had the same problems last year when I bought my tunnel, couldn't get through to anyone. Finally went with a CR and Chad was awesome to talk with. He was very friendly, doesn't care if I call numerous time with dumb questions (in fact he spent an hour on the phone one night talking about different options).

Go with CR you won't be disappointed.

Had A VE one on an m-7and I tied it down at the rear bumper IN MY TRAILER and bent the tunnel at the suspension mounts,, when I asked them for help they wouldnt even return my call, the replacement tunnel was a CR ,but Im shure they have gotten better after5 years,,,RIGHT!last time I posted this I was flamed for weeks,I had to have Snow eliminators make custom boards to run the length of the tunnel up the sides !!!!!:boxing:

it was a VE that bent ? im assuming that the CR held up a lot better....? hey man thanks for the input, hopefully you dont get "flamed" again lol

1200 psi

power addictions builds a very stout tunnel, theres no way it could flex. he will make any color you want. he is 1200psi on here

paint

okay well from the feedback ive got here i think itll be a CR tunnel, now whats the best paint wise...... can you get aluminum anodized (ive heard that is togher then powdercoating ?) and where do u get it done, or is there somebody that is a real good powdercoater ??? and lastly what the hell is the difference between the two ? thanks guys.

I've seen quite a few with a wrinkle black powdercoating, it seems to last very well. I assume Chad had them done. I like polished, for a couple hundred bucks they can be repolished to a brilliant shine. My $0.02.

Lincoln county customs (lcc) in alpine wy makes a pretty sweet tunnel for the apex. Might want to check them out
