tunnel vibration

hay guys Im new here just thought id say hello and have a few questions about my new Nytro mtx

1. I have a mean vibration in my tunnel (feels like my track is rubbing on my tunnel) when im in packed snow like snow drifts, it dosent do it in any other type of snow. It got noticably worse when i tightened my track. the track sags about 1-2" when i pick it up now, so it is no where near to tight but this is my first sled with extroverts so am i running it to tight.

2. Im 220lbs geared up and i ride it like i stole it I have my rear suspension as stiff as i can go, what are my options will the apex mtn springs work or do i have to change shocks.

Are you sure that you have pinpointed the vibration because I have the same sled and feel the vibration on the boards, all the way to the bars in the deep snow and can't figure out why. Only happens in deep fresh snow. Possibly primary cluth?

I doubt its too tight! spec in the book is 1.18~1.38 inches at 22lbs of force!
wait till you put a camo 2.5 extreme on it then it will rattle your teeth.

I wish I had the answer for the springs I think its too soft all the way around and I only weigh 185 ~ 190 lbs.

ya i feel the vibration in the boards to not much in the bars but its been driving me nuts. i keep getting off the sled and checking my track.

Is your track rubbing the sides of the tunnel? The rear suspension brackets don't leave much for room.

My apex does the same thing, and it is worse with the challenger extreme. I am running avids and I think a little vibration comes off of these, at the unloading edge of the tooth. As for the suspension, I put on Yamaha's heavier spring with the Venture gas shock and it made a huge difference. I am 260(muscle of course) with no gear and I run it in the softest setting, works excellent, 250 bucks do to both upgrades. If you have stock drivers still on, take a look at them, they are probably shredded.

I have the same vibration.. just put the camo extreme 162 and this weekend it only does it climbing in the powder.. Alignment looks good and I checked for rubbing and ice etc... Must be the track...
