Tunnel taper 155 vs 163

Anyone know if the tunnel taper is different on the 155 vs 163? Or is it the same with the 155 being just cut off shorter?

I took a tape with me to measure that and the distance to the dropbracket to see if its possible to just swap rails between 155-163. But the dealer didnt have a 163 in...

I would like to know this as well it would be great to just swap rails and track

The Skids will swap directly. Tunnel is stretched between the rear suspension hanger and where the rear bumper mounts. ie- the tunnel taper is different back there.

OK but how much if any would 163 factory rails and track stick out of a 155 tunnel? I'm not close to my 16 axys 155 so I can't measure.

Hard to say i mean really its about 4" longer. I think there is a post about it in the pro section

I ran a 162 on my 155 pro with no problems. Just added factory 162 rails to my skid, adjusted the shocks a bit, and then zip tied my snow flap to the rear bumper. Put 700 miles on it, all back country riding with zero issues.
I'm guessing the same could be done on the axys, but I havent tried it. Eric
