Tunnel rack ideas

I'm looking for a tunnel rack for my new sled.
I want to carry the traditional gas can and/or a gear bag but I also may want to carry a 5 gallon pail or 20 pound propane tank to/from the fish house.

Anyone have some ideas?

Don't want to scuff the tunnel so something that keeps gear off the tunnel would be preferred (or a rubber protecting pad would work)

Affix 2 pieces of aluminum angle to each side of tunnel and drill holes for bungee straps every inch or two.

To protect tunnel you could buy a mat or make your own from rubber shelf liner held in place by strips of double sided tape. You could also use the stuff they make to protect the top of deck joists from moisture. There are different thicknesses for the joist tape, one roll i bought for my new deck was thicker than the susequent rolls i used.

I was hoping to find something and not look too MacGyverish

I like these but too wide for my tunnel.
Mine is only 15"
