Tunnel Ice

Hey guys i picked up a Nytro this year and been out a few times riding and it really ices up under the tunnel along those two tunnel length bars, is it possible to get rid of those or are they detrimental? I dont really see what they are supposed to be doing under there. Just tired of the big ice bergs weighing the back end down. Thx

If they are the aluminum boxed rectangle bars above where the track clips ride, then those are the tunnel protectors. If your not running studs, you can remove them without issues.
