I'd toss the PJ fellas. Bare minimum get a PWK. Pulsed PWK is my choice. I went riding with my 610BB buddy and he didn't have much more fuel then me when we got back to the truck LOL

I was surprise what gears I can pull on climbs.... I find I had to lower my revs a bit because it was not needed... But mine loves fuel.... I did swap to newer forks and I just got my tunnel cooler back from Mylers so they could reduce the line size and 90 them towards the bike... I will post pics tomorrow.. Interesting point about the carb freeze and using more fuel.....

Can you post a picture of what mylers did? I'm still waiting on my kit so i have a little time. Cost? How long it took?
Here's a couple pics of my tunnel cooler rigging so far. I deleted the left radiator, am going left outlet to avid stat then to tunnel cooler. Return is right into the bottom of the right radiator. I'm leaving the right rad for a reservoir but am putting a valve in it to stop the flow. I will have to experiment with it on and off in different conditions. Carb heat will be avid but i'm waiting for my tss to get here so i know how to clock it on my carb.

I don't think the pulse reed cage would fit on my bike even, the stock reed cage is about 2-3 mm away from hitting the pipe, and the pipe is already hard to get on and off with the reeds installed.

I had mylers 90 the tunnel cooler outlets along with match the cr500 radiator line size... and I am deleting both radiators and going with a catch bottle... I will post pics tomorrow it cost 45 for them to do the work...

I ran a catch bottle all last year and it does fill then pull the coolant back in, IMO its a good idea to have one, as its easy to check coolant level and you never lose any.

Just hooked up a new hose to my radiator, could easily do the catch bottle, we used to make them from pretty simple bottles, and drill two holes in the cap, and epoxy around the tubes. But the hose I got was really long, thinking I might as well make another catch bottle. No clue where to put it on this aluminum frame though, I can't even route this overflow line everything is so tight it's insane.

What makes a good catch bottle these days?

More pics... I have to plug the sensor hole in the intake.. Directions were for a ktm for the back I am going to put a shelf where the gas goes then attach a rotopax mount and two 1.75 cans that way I keep the weight off the rear of the tunnel.
