Anybody using the Timbersled Elite Backcountry Tunnel Bag by Ogio ? Pros and cons? Any other good suggestions? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm always tempted to get stuff off my back and on the bike, but then you have to think about what you'd do if you were in a small slide and your bike, along with your shovel, got buried. You'd definitely want that shovel on your back, along with your beacon and probe.

I have the mountain addiction and am not very happy with it. I mounted up and looked sweet but the zipper was a pain and the elastic on top works poorly when it gets cold/icy/wet. I am looking into a pelican also. Just gonna bolt it to the tunnel then maybe use some snowboard ratchet to lock down the shovel blade...
I was looking for a pelican case, there are four holes behind the gas can on LT TS tunnel that would fit one perfect. Would be interested what size fits on there. I looked locally and have not found one that fits, would have to order one.

Another option , Ogio and others make miniature tank bags that work pretty good as a bar bag . It holds a lot more than what's available for a bar bag . For those that don't know adding weight behind you seriously affects the way the machine handles , way more than a sled since you have nothing to keep you upright .

I used a Condition one #075 case on my ST kit and it fit perfectly. A lot cheaper than the Pelican case and every bit as sturdy and waterproof. Stuck a sticker over the logo and nobody knows the difference. Amazon has them right around $40.
Im going with Wolfmans E-12 saddle bags this year. Spendy but hopefully good.

I run Craiggerbuilt IPEX bags on both my bikes and the CAB-B on my sled. I also carry a shovel in my pack, as well as one in quick release QuickFist ATV utility clamps screwed to the tunnel. Works brilliantly.
