Tumbler area looking up

Anyone been to Bullmoose or any Tumbler areas yet? Looks like we're going to try it out on Saturday. Curious if there are any updates after this latest snowfall.

Yeah, a guy I ride with from Sexsmith was up there already. He said it was better thaN this time last year. I was with him last year and we had a blast and scratched the itch. I'd go but I have to F!@#ing work.

We went to Bullmoose area on Saturday. VERY cold (-29 at the trucks). It did warm up but a tad chilly for my likes. the snow was very low everywhere but a few lee-side spots. There were definitely a few sweet spots but too early to ride the Tumbler area in my opinion - by far. I would say don't go yet or you will be disappointed. Good to get out nonetheless. Even managed to blow a belt.

Just wondering if Bullmoose got anymore snow this week, or if anyone's tryed it this weekend. Can't wait to get out, sleds ready but only 6'' of snow here, and don't know the pass areas yet.

Hows the tumbler Snow situation ?

We were at the core lodge on the 26th. Roughly a foot and half at the lodge, two-three feet at the bottom of the hillclimb hill and around 5 feet in the trees at the hillclimb hill.

Made it 16-20 miles and mostly spent the day shovelling. Still sticks and the odd rock though.

Rode Bullmoose Saturday - not much snow - looks the the wind did a number on the area.
Definitely needs more snow before I would go again.

Hows Bullmoose now. Any body near Tumbler know if its been snowing much? I'm hoping to get out there on the 27th.

No new snow as of it that I saw. Looks like some in the forecast this week but who knows.

Was in core two weeks ago and the snow was terrible. Went in for a ride yesterday during the snow storm and the snow was awesome. Whoever has time to make a trip in should asap. Snow was awesome.

I'm heading out to Bullmoose today. Heard the logging road is rideable now. Hopefully find some good snow out there.

Lots of Powder

Was out at Bullmoose yesterday. Only had a couple hours there because of a flat tire on the way. Rode around at the lake about 16km in on the logging road there. It was a bit icey on the first few corners but there was plenty of snow to ride on and no gravel poking through at all. Lots of snow. Measured 1.5m with about 2.5ft of soft powder.
