At least one guy in that thread has done it with luck it sounds like.

Going to try to hunt down components tonight and get em ordered.
Going to try on '12 Pro800
And by chance, does anyone know exactly what the "open resistance" all controls, if it does anything other than telling the ECU that it's at 0% throttle?
