TS Front Pivot Arm Adjustments

Curious how people have their front pivot arm setup. I haven't adjusted it from the factory setting which I think is just slight pivoting, but curious how others have it setup and how it has performed in the powder, trails, etc.

I thought from factory was at max rotation. I locked mine out, felt decent in powder, but when it got more technical in the trees I didn't like it. Not forgiving enough, and it is nice to be able to move your weight a bit to keep from falling over. Just a lot easier to maneuver with it not locked. I haven't tried the middle setting. One side was easy to move in and out, and the other required tapping with a hammer, and then prying with a screwdriver while in the snow to get it back out. Not sure why the one side lines up perfectly but the other does not.

Could be. I didn't install my kit; had the local shop do it. Sounds like I need to move those collars out... Does it make it any more difficult (tippy) to jump on the bike from a standstill, or for that matter, when you come to a stop?

If anything makes it easier to stay upright. It's not enough give to fall over if you were already perfectly upright. But if it is locked, and you are leaned over already more likely to fall, vs unlocked and uneven you have that extra tilt to keep it up. It might sound weird, but I tipped around two trees while I had it locked out, and there was a huge difference in feel to me. Granted I did like it locked initially, when it was powder and no obstacles, but that was more because it responded right away to leaning, just not worth it imo.

Agreed all the way out is the way to go for the tech stuff... Makes the road a little more dicey ...
