Trying to get a good idea of what colorado has to offer

Hey guys i'm just wondering what kind of riding Colorado has to offer. I worked for Marathon oil and gas for almost 2 years up in Garden Gulch outside parachute but the guards at the gate wouldn't let me pass in my pickup with my sled so I never got to tool around much when I was down there. Parachute never got much snow anyways. So my brother and I have kind of been wondering if there was some riding around Rifle, Grand Junction, or Fruita.. those seem to be the hotspots everyone talked about.

Site is a little about what we do now

Nice placeholder page.

Probably have to do some driving, but vail pass, rabbit ears, steamboat/columbine, and red&white aren't too far.

you're kidding right? were talkin about sledding right?

if your in parachute, your smack in the middle of the flattops and the mesa.
both offer excellant sledding w/ the largest riding area in state.
if you know peeps, you ca ride the battlement mesa above parachute,, 15min away.

if your looking for snow right now, there isnt any! but driving to vail pass is silly. Traffic, pay parking and ton's of people=just wrong. check out this thread--->

LOL thats awesome! I spend my time on the other mountain across the valley up in garden gulch.. I figured battlement was the hot spot but I never really had any time for sledding when i worked down thataway anyways.. worked 12 hour days 7 days a week with 1 day off a month!!! Only time I got to ride for 2 years was when I came home for christmas break and I rode the Uintas on those days. I got a buncha buddies who live in rifle now though and I'm planning a few trips down that way in february next year. Thanks for the tims tho.. sweet pics! :cool::beer;:beer;:beer;
