3-5in of new snow expected over the next 36 hours

The snow was everything I was hoping for and more.

The whole mountain was virgin untracked snow.

A good foot of fresh spring powder to play in most everywhere except in the valley.

Spent most of the day up on Two Tops and there wasn't an old or new track to be seen anywhere.

Looked like no one had been up there in days.

Ran out of gas and had to turn the ride WAY BEFORE we ran out of snow!

It was a blast. There are only a very few things I can think of that would've been better to do on my 42nd B-day.

Its KILLING me right now that my daughter took my sled trailer to use to move out of college this week!!

I am having to MOOTCH a life from my buddies just to get into the snow!

OH THE INJUSTICE OF IT ALL!! :face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

Looks like our snow is holding out!
Got 5 inches last night, and more coming for this weekend.

We are going to have a KILLER SPRING !!

Think a guy will be able to ride out of West Yellowstone over Easter weekend or do you have to trailer to the snow by now?

Trailer

Even if you did have to trailer to the snow it wouldn't be very far. 5 or 6 miles at most toward Island Park.

The trick will be finding a parking spot for the trailer that is CLOSE enough to the snow so you don't taost your hifax running down the trail.

Been There.
Done That.

Having a sled deck on the back of your pickup truck could extend the season another month around here!!:face-icon-small-hap

Bishop Mountain lookout.

Yesterday I parked right along the highway and unloaded. Took the kiddos up Antelope Flats road up to the Bishop Mountain Lookout Tower. It was a short easy ride but the kids had a lot of fun.

the Snow was pretty hard to begin but softened up later on and could finally get the sleds to cool off.

The snow at the tower was deep enough that they could walk across the security fence for the tower.

by the looks of this we'll still be able to ride on memorial day.

3 of us went in towards Keg Springs on Saturday and just played all across the mountain.

Blue Bird Sky, Bright Sun, 4-6 inches of new snow.

What a spectacular day of riding!

It was so bright I came down off the mountain sunburned!

WE GOT DUMPED ON LAST NIGHT!!!

On top of "Black Bear" in Island Park/West Yellowstone.

Spent the day riding in the Keg Springs area of Island Park.

The snow was great and the weather even better.

Absolutely STUNNING season we are having.

My still camera was dead and my Contour is not behaving itself very well.
They just told me to send it back in for replacement.

Let me see if I can upload a couple minutes worth of video from yesterday.
