Troubleshooting clutching issues.

I'm having some issues with the clutching on my 07 D7. It has a SLP pipe/can with ported/decked heads. The primary has MTX weights and a Green/Pink spring. The secondary is a team Tss-04, but I stripped the torx bolts on the helix so I'm not sure whats in it.

The issue I'm having is the clutch hanging at about 6000-6200 rpms, it only happens after I let off partially from full throttle then get back on it before the sled slows all the way down. If I then slow down to almost a stop then go WOT the sled climbs up to max RPM no problem.

I pulled my primary off and realized that my weight bushings were worn to the point that the weights had started to contact the spider. I replaced those, but it didn't seem to help at all. I also noticed that there is a black ring around the bottom of the sheaves where the clutch has been slipping, and a crack on each sheave. So I'm guessing this is from the primary being worn.

Does this sound like something that could be caused by a worn secondary? If it's the primary I will be buying a new one since both my sheaves are cracked, I just want to be sure before I go and drop $400 on a new clutch.

Before I do anyting I am going to try a different belt to see how that changes things.

Tap the torx bosts with a hammer, much easier to loosen them then.
Time to change the secondary spring and add delrin washer or two.

Since you are running practically an entire SLP setup, I would contact them. They have ALWAYS been very helpful when I have called.
