Trouble B.D. 2011 pro trouble

I have a 2011 polaris pro rmk with a boondockers garrett 2860 with innercooler. I run straight race fuel and 6 to 8 LBs of boost and 90% of the time it cuts out at about 6000 rpms and cuts out. I just had the the codes updated the turbo #'s. Any idea's.

When the numbers go up you are adding fuel or making it rich. When the numbers go down you are removing fuel or making it leaner. So in your case making the numbers smaller equals leaner.

But before I did that I would either turn up the boost like BD said, or mix your fuel differently. I run a BD turbo at 10.5 lbs of boost on my 12 Pro at 7,000 to 10,000ft. I mix 50/50 Sunoco 110 and Premium Pump gas and my sled performs great.

I truly do not mean this to be disrespectful, but you (anyone stepping into the 2 stroke turbo game) need to do some research and learning, before you jump into the turbo game. If you do not understand how to lean out or richen the system, chances are, you are going to have an unpleasant experience owning a turbo sled. I'm not saying, don't own a turbo sled, I'm just saying that you should learn about the system you will be on, and how it operates. Learn a little bit about basic properties of how a turbo system works, on a two stroke motor. And learn about what signs to look for to understand how to do basic tuning of the sled.
Turbo companies have done a great job making things simple for the masses to be able to own great running turbo sleds, but they can only simplify so much. I see a lot of threads on this forum, about how disappointed they are with "X" turbo on their sled. I really wonder how many of these, are customers that don't know what they are doing and tuning backwards (Leaning when they think they are adding fuel, etc.)

No disrespect here. I had a turbo apex and never had to mess with it. So I never learned how to mess with the numbers. I have always just been scared of blowing it up thats why im asking. Thanks for all the help.

Richard. You're not alone. I have a turbo Nytro. Set it and forget it. This thing is amazingly simple. Kind of keeps me from going boosted two stroke. If I ever did I'd guess I'd be hitting the books.

I dont mess with my Pro. After initial setup and tuning there is no adjustments. I spent more time adjusting my apex in one day then i have ever on my pro. Just how far the 2 stroke turbo world has come is impressive. like i said before post up your numbers. and what kind of AFR are you seeing.
