Triton TC11 whois got one?

Anybody using the Triton TC 11? I really like the design but at 11ft is it tight with a 162? Likes/Dislikes?

I looked at one last year. My concern was you'll hit max gross weight pretty quickly (one axle, heavy door). IMO, that's probably why it's only 11ft. After loading 2 sleds, gear, gas, etc., you could exceed the gross weight.

I went with the 12ft elite trailer with cover .. lighter, and you can drive on/off.

Do like Triton quality. Only complaint is they should have more vents, but that's easily fixed.

I have the TC11 and from a functionality standpoint I love it. I also use it for ATV's and the covered drive on / drive off trailers are too short for the ATV's. The TC11 is perfect for what I want, its light, can be towed with smaller vehicles, easy to load / unload and is tall enough to accommodate driving and storing ATV's as well as sleds.

As far as the longer sleds go, the ski's of the sled go beyond the front of the deck so there is no problem with long sleds - even the 162's fit.

My only complaint so far is that there is an area on the front of the trailer where the paint is peeling. Has anybody else run across this issue????

Overall - very pleased with the trailer - the only trailer that would be nicer is a full cargo trailer but then you better have a big truck and a lot of land to store it.

One other small complaint - the trailer tong is pretty short so when you backing it up its a little more touchy than I'd like but nothing that would stop me from buying it again.

i have the 07 mod. great trailer lite easy to unhook up on the log roads and spin around. doubles as harley hauler . and you dont need the big rig to pull it! i use an 08 tahoe.

One thing to consider is the straight side walls.
I had a Triton XT with the flip up aluminum cap and have since gone to a Triton Elite 12' with a Fast Enterprises fiberglass clamshell.
Biggest difference is the angled in sides of the fiberglass topper really improve rear visibility and pulls easier.

Thistledoo had one of these back a number of years ago and I had to pull it from Afton, WY to Idaho Falls with my '96 Chev 1500 short box, reg cab 4X4. I was amazed how light it pulled. I've been looking for a used one since. I'm too friggen cheap to shell out over 5K for a new one.

Mines a haulmark....its a 1995 and last fall I gave it a extreme makeover...nobody still makes one like this anymore that I know off IMO its the perfect 2 place....12 by 8 with the ramp door....tons of room, pulls easy and isnt to big....13inch rubber also...I will never part with this unit.

Well went out and got a TC11 from Xtreme Performance. They gave me a pretty sweet deal. No problems with a 162 right now i have 2 162's in there.

- Nytro 162 with stock tunnel
- Nytro 162 with timbersled tunnel

The one with the timbersled tunnel is tighter but no problem.

I installed superclamps and need to go find some trailer guides.

I'd like to put an RV furnace in there but there may not be enough room.

Thanks for the advice
