triple rate EXIT shocks. help needed!

Hi,
I got the EXIT shocks with triple rate spring. I have tried contacting Zbroz via mail, but i get no replies, so i hoped someone on the forum could help me.

I don't like the triple rate spring's, and want to go back to single rate( like the stock).
Do anyone know where i can get a long enough spring to fit the clip system?
Or if i can lock the two small spring's with longer spacer's?

Call them. They take longer to email but usually pick up the phone. But with the holidays, it could be until Monday that they are back in office.

I don't understand why you don't like the triple rate springs. They give you the flexibility of changing spring compression/rebound to your liking. I suppose you could have all three the same spring, but that doesn't make sense. I don't know of a single rate spring for the Exit shocks.

the triple rate is to soft, even at the hardest setup. it feels like a XP chassis. It get more unstable when going down the trails, and get's harder to predict when playing around from side to side, and when sidehilling. When i'am trying to tip it over it feels like I'am compressing the entire shock before it gets up.

Pm wan, anger890 here on the forums. He is a dealer for zbroz and knows everything about the exit shocks. He will be able to help you out I'm sure. The beauty of the triple rate is that you can change any or all of the springs to achieve what you want. I'm sure that with a little adjustment you can get an ideal ride. I have been riding exits for a few years now and I would never go back to anything else!!!!

If you bought these new and are less than 30 days old Zbroz has a ride quality guarantee. Call them and tell them what they are currently doing (or not doing) and what you want them to do. They will exchange the springs and/or revalve the shock, for free until you are satisfied. Obviously if you didn't purchase the shocks new then the cost would be on you.

The beauty of the triple spring stack is it is very easy to swap in a different spring and tune it to you particular requirements in the region of the ride that does not suit your needs. I've had 2 sets of Exit shocks and calling directly to them quickly solved my problem.

What everyone else said. I pretty much guarantee that Zbroz can build your shocks stiffer that what you would ever want.

I am no expert on mountain sled set up but I think what your saying is typical of a triple spring set up. Its very possible that a very short soft spring and a long firm spring will give you a good ride threw little compression but still firm enough that it keeps the body above the snow when side hilling.

Triple Rate Exit shocks

Sorry if you have not gotten back to you. I have not seen any email come through, if you have emailed one of my sales guys they are off for Christmas. Your welcome to PM me here if you'd like or email me Nate@zbrozracing.com

We have lots of options for you, If you are out of Pre load clip positions we can send you a spacer to give you more or make a rate change to give you what you are looking for. Its a pretty easy adjustment just need to know how many clips of preload from Zero pre load you are at?

Don't put a single rate back on you have way more adjustment and progression with a triple rate and once you understand how the system works and we get it like you want you will be happy.

Melfjord
another thing to check and keep in mind that the front and rear react
together my buddy the other day was saying my front shocks are way to soft so i checked it out and i could jump on his running boards and it would barely move (compress)
kinda like a teeter tooter if one side doesn't give the other will gotta find that balance
good luck i'm sure you'll get it figured out
let us know how it went
thanks
let it snow
