Trenching

No it shouldn't. The MTX is still prone to trenching but nowhere near as bad as the Attack/Apex 136" so called crossover. I know my Apex LTX GT has a steeper track attack angle than an MTX thus it trenches bad.
That's why I'm the proud new owner of a TNytro.
I just didn't want to invest the money/time into a sled that would never quite perform in the deep. And I got sick of being passed by Crossdresser 600's once the snow was over 1 foot deep.

It certainly is a sickening feeling getting passed by little 600's from the competition. My 95 M10 equipped V Max 4 800 with a stock track of what 7/8" or so would suck this heavy 597 lb dry weight sucker in one set of cylinders and spit it out the other. Hate to give up the 4 stroke due to engine reliability and dont want to try a Nytro XTX 144 until we are certain it will not due the same thing?

It always felt like such a waste of a great motor when spinning through some powder on the Ape. I'm sure the Nytro XTX will perform much better but I'm not sure of all the tech and specs on it. Maybe someone else can chime in.

I rode the XTX at Arcticman last year. Front suspension is way better than the RTX and it worked decent in 2' of soft snow but if you are looking for an off trail sled then the 1-1/4 144 isn't going to do it for ya. I know that they were considering putting 1-3/4 on it which would be in my opinion a much better all around track. More like the new crossfire snopro's.
