Trash in the GC cabin

Once again the small Forest Service cabin is littered with beer cans. If you bring your food and beer with you take it out with you. I packed out as much as I had room for but there was still around 20 more beer cans and some bottles.

When I first went into the hut to start a fire there were three snowboarders with sleds that were just leaving. The smell of beer in the hut was obvious along with a pile of empty beer cans. I am sure that all of them were not theirs and maybe none of them were. IF everybody cleans up after theirselves we will all be better off. If we can help out that would be great also..we shouldnt have to but it is a dirty evil that needs doing.

Guys..Pick your crap up and take it out with you or the cabin/hut may end up being locked up.

the same thing happens at the greenwater cabin, people use the wood, eat their lunches, drink their beers, throw their trash in the corner and leave, makes you wonder what their houses look like, no thanks. If you can't pick up your trash then just stay home, don't destroy what others love and respect!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm a part of the snowmobile club (snojammers) that maintains a portion of the trail system at greenwater, and who also built the cabin.

this past month at our meeting, we discussed how people are chopping wood on the floor. this is causing the floor to crack, get nicked, and damaged. that is the original floor from when the cabin was built 20+ yrs ago. we need to protect it...cut your wood outside - please.

also, please pack out your garbage. to many club members are constantly taking trash out that isnt theirs.

please be respectfull.

Garbage

I agree if your sled was strong enough to pack it in then pack it out !! For the last few years I've brought my sled trailer up to cloverflats cabin and load 3 to 4 large garbage sacks out and you can only do it when there's snow on the ground because it's a protected meadow. PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT !!!!!

exactly why can't someone pack out a twelve pack of emptys when they pack in a full twelve pack. it just is amazing ive lost so much riding area to this it makes me sick and its not just the sledders weve got the skiers up there too

Last Sunday I had to stop at the cabin in the afternoon to dry my goggles out. There was at least 20 people in the cabin and another 10-15 outside. I would've had plenty to say if I didn't think I would've had to fight all the trailer trash hanging out in there claiming to be snowmobilers, tossing beer cans in the corner and leaving trash and empty bottles all around. Plus the loud mouth trashy beeyotch in the pink castle gear that left her white wine on the bench I can't wait for someone to shut you up. You are the greatest rider I've ever heard of!!! Pick up your trash its yours not others.
Rant over.

On top of all that ridiculousness how about not parking your sled in the middle of the trail so people have to weave around you.
