Trap shooters what are you paying for shells

Just wondering what you guys are paying for trap load these days?

Reloading prices have came down a bit too, thinking of going back to reloading my own.

what is the best prices you guys have seen on this stuff?

The guys and I that shoot are thinking of buying a crate of shells if we could get a deal on them?

I reload at 1.40 a box... but I am unique. I make my own shot, I use a continuous run black max double ladle double dripper machine. I have a auto sorter and polisher. We turn ww into ready made shot at 160# an hour. But even if you put in true input costs it is still way cheaper to reload. If you are close i will trade your WW at a rate of 60/40.

I've been picking up Winchester Universal #7 1/2 and #8 for around $27/100rd. Cad. Cheapest place around here is Wal Mart. I am thinking about getting back into realoading though...

Haven't bought any shells for some time. I reload my own. Shot is $25.00 a bag, I'm going to pick up 8lbs of Clay's powder tomorrow for hopefully around $100. Still have plenty of primers.
Himark, do you shoot the NE state shoot? Haven't been down to Doniphan for a few years. Probably going back this year.

I dont shoot there...but you will find my shot for sale there. I have a shooting vendor that buys my shot by the ton. Look for it under the lable HMS shot. That is all made at my shop

Past few years I have been picking up my clay loads like this, wait till the local dove season is over then Walmart puts their #8's on Sale for 3.50 A box. When they do it, Ill usually buy 12 to 16 boxes. That keeps me in shells for the year.
