Transporting a 4wheeler standing on end?

Has anyone here transported a utility quad standing up, on end?
Have seen it done with sport quads in the back of a truck before.
Can drain the oil and gas out easily if that's needed.
One time deal while we're moving cross county, running out of room on the trailer.
It's a Cat 650H1 quad.

I have never done it, but seen it done before with trailers on the road. I would definitely drain the gas, as I have had some gas come out before on a roll over. Oil will depend on the angles.

I saw it A LOT on the interstate between LA and Vegas back 2012. Probably saw 10 or 12 trucks that transported that way.

Those guys could benefit from exposure to sled decks.

Yeah for sure.
I figure drain the oil and gas, pull the battery, wire some cribbing to the back of the rear rack so it will sit on that rather than the fenders/taillight and tie it down.
It will be pretty well pinned in anyways, hence the need to stand it up vs leave it on all 4's.
