Transfer straps vs transfer rods

Do transfer straps replace and work like the stock transfer rods on MM"s

They do replace the transfer rods but they don't work like them. I find it interesting that they call them transfer rods. They should be called anti transfer rods. I found the suspension with the straps much better in every situation

The transfer straps replace the rods. The straps allow the rear skid to transfer wiel the rods restricted it. The straps keep the skid from uncoupling. I have been running the straps for over 10 years and like trueblue I have never regreted putting them on.

I think that when you just stand on the sled the straps appear to not have any effect on rear transfer but when the dynamics of the rotating track trying to shift the skid rearward they have a limiting effect. It would be neat to put a gopro on the running boards and see what really happens when your riding

did this mod to my viper and it never worked so well
I would have to say you got straps or need straps, no rods
