Its time to replace the jack on my Triton enclosed. Looking to see what others have used for a good replacement that holds up to the winters. Had my eye on the Fulton F2 until I read a lot of unfavorable reviews. Thanks for the input.
I like the dual wheel setup because it is easier to move around and to chock. A light coat of grease on the shaft each year reduces stickiness and oxidation on the shaft when stored in the extended position.
I though about doing an electric but with the way the tongue is set up on the Triton I would have to fabricate a bracket to make it work and the garage is packed full right now due to a remodel project.
After mine wore out I went with this one. I had to weld it to my old bracket though so I could be bolted to the tongue. What I like about it is it appears to be unaffected by the nasty weather salt and road grime. Just keeps working. And it seems really heavy duty. It is rated for 7000 lbs which makes it very easy to raise and lower my 27 foot inline. However, because it can lift so much weight so easily each turn of the handle does not raise it a lot. So you have to put a lot of cranks to it. I feel its worth it because it may be the last jack I need to buy.
