Trailer Deck Protection ??

What are you doing to protect the wood on your trailer? Cleaning,water proofing like a Thompsons? Ive heard of some that have done like Rhino Lining. Wondering how it is adhering to the wood and how it is holding up.

I put a fresh coat of Thompsons water seal each summer on my trailer deck. I've been doing it for years and don't see any reason to use an expensive bed liner material (Skags will cut it up like anything else).

Here is a picture of the deck after 5 seasons of use. Still looks good and not dried out and gray.

We use Thompson's every year, soak it good...

When our trailer was new, I got an old bed liner & used a skillsaw to rip strips... then screwed it down... works FABULOUS...guides the skis straight & the carbides/skags don't touch... they fit in a groove & the skis just slide right in...
