Just seen the trading post is up for auction august 27. Anybody know any details? is there a reserve, has it been for sale with a realtor, any hidden rules in cenntenial that a person would want to shy away from? I may be interested just need some local imput.

Interesting.......

Two questions,

1. Is it a true bank listed auction?

2. Is it a standard sale attempt through auctions process? ie, owner trying a creative way to sell with no preasure from bank. reserve set just as high as owner wants.

We have done these types of auctions in the past. I had a seller that wanted 260k for a acreage for nearly 2 years it was worth maybe 200 had offers 160 ish to 190's he turned down. He told me anything around 200 he would sell. We put a 4x8 sign out by highway said it was to be auctioned 3 months in advance. Advertised it everywhere then had the auction. Property brought the 230 and sold.

Point is it wasnt worth 230 but people knew he was asking 260 and thought they got a "auction" deal.

Auction should be starting in 15 minutes...I know a local thats bidding to turn it into a strip bar:face-icon-small-sho

Guess I would have to stay in Centennial going forward. Hopefully it will be a sled friendly owner so we can go in the front door.

I think Tog or coyoteman should buy it. Coyoteman can give you some of his moldy money:face-icon-small-ton

Did it sell?

I have enough fun dealing with the employees I have now, I don't need a few more drunks to deal with. Plus the place has limited growth potential and I would guess it is over valued.

We were up there earlier. looks pretty empty, wish someone friendly with recreational vehicles would get it.

BTW it was only 64 degrees up there while it was 80 down in town. Tree's are a changin and cold weather is comin!
