I have a very nice pair of Fox Float shocks. Very low miles since a fresh rebuild from Carls.. They are 18" in length and I am needing a set of 17" shocks instead. I am looking to trade if anyone is interested.

You can just have your 18's slugged 1" and they would be 17's. I guess that kinda sucks because you just had them rebuilt and they will have to tear them apart to do so.

I called Carls and asked them about doing that, but they said it wouldnt be cost effective to do that.. They said I should either sell these and buy new ones or just trade for what I need.. :)

what size is needed for a 09 draogon?

I dont know what they measure fully compressed.. I am not really looking to sell unless I could find a set of 17" shocks for the same price..

Anyone?? If nobody wants to trade, there is a pair of 17" shocks on here I could buy for $350, so I would let these go for the same price so I could pick them up..:face-icon-small-ton

I have a pair of 17" FLOATS but unfortunately I hit (bumped) a tree last year and the shaft got a knick in it when the steering shaft snapped off. Wonder how much a new shaft is cause I'd love to have the 18" Floats !

Call Carls and see what the cost of a new shaft would be..
