track swap on the xp?

has anyone done one?

trying to figure out if i should do mine or take it to the dealer. want to know if anyone that has done one has experienced anything out of the ordinary from an older style tunnel/chassis.

not sure if the xp brings new challenges to the table vs. old set ups.

hate to bring to a dealer as they rarely know their azz from a hole in the ground.

It is a bit more of a pain than all the older skidoo's. The hardest part is dealing with the brake assembly. I think anyone taking there time with a little mechanical ability can do it. Good luck!:)

Maybe think about getting that driveshaft upgrade at the same time?

I did the drive shaft in and out in a couple of hours. Same as a track swap.

Brake side is a bit different. Take your time and it will all make sense as it comes apart.

Gotta say worse part was removing springs on muffler....

I use a 2 ft. piece of wire and loop over spring, easy to pull especially if it has thick insulation on it.
