Track swap on 146 850

Hey guys, new to the group. I have a 146 khaos 850 with a 2” lug as my back up mountain sled/ flat land sled. I want to throw a large lug on it to make it wheelie more and for deep snow. Was hoping around a 2.75 or 3”. What tracks have you guys swapped to and what would I all need to change on the sled for the track

Composite tracks makes a 3 inch 147. You would have to get 3.5 drivers though. To keep your stock drivers and rails I think a peak 2.5 or challenger 2.5 and polaris 2.6 are your only options

I'm currently running a punched out 3 inch 154 power claw and have run the older 153x3 power claw on my 146. Love them both. But you need a rail and driver change too.

Would i need to change the rail for the 147”? I’m not against changing drivers, what brand would you go with

I would think just change the drivers. The 3.5 drivers I think are slightly bigger than the 2.86 on your sled. So they would take up some slack of the bigger track.
I can't remember how much extra room is in the stock rails. I never ran my sled as a 146. Put 154 nextech carbon rails on for my other tracks when the sled was new.

Composite M66 is your best bet, I have one on mine and it does everything you are wanting it to.
Have you personally ran this track? I have the 2.6, it's starting to lose some paddles looking to upgrade.

Yes I am currently running the M66 on a 146 Khaos, it is a lot heavier duty then the factory track. Only down side is it does add a few lbs. As far as traction goes it bites pretty hard!
