track rubbing on 05 King Cat

Today it was -31 when we left the parking lot, so throughout the day there was a lot of ice build up on my King Cat. About halfway through the day, I noticed a lot of vibration and noise coming from the front of my suspension. It sounded like my track was rubbing on something. I rolled the sled on it's side, and chipped some ice loose, but it built up again. Is this common with Kings? Is there any diagnosis or fix to this problem? I have an M1000 can on it, so the exhaust dumps behind the a arms... would this cause the ice???

mine did it the other day, same sled, same conditions....well only -10f but what I learned is not to let the snow just sit there if I am gonna shut it down. it goes from slush to ice in a hurry. I honestly doubt the sled make has much to do with it......that is just plain cold.

it pays to move your sled a track fotation or two after you quit riding for the day two....get back to the trailer and shut it down, get the truck warming up, helmets away....whatever, then load. that will allow the snow from the tunnel to fall and not turn to solid ice on the track. the right condition could lock it up.
