How do you guys feel about the Flex Edge and the Powder Claw? I've heard mixed reviews about the Flex Edge, some say it's not worth it's money while others say it's absolutely great. I also know The Powder Claw is probably one of the best tracks on the market when it comes to riding in all snow conditions...? I want a good track, and I'm throwing a T-Motion on my sled this summer, so I'd like to know which one would be better. If you think there's a better all around track please share.

Also what do you guys think about this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Flexible-Ed...Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f1fd3340b&vxp=mtr ? Just another Ebay gimmick, or what? The way they're advertising it breaking the cords in the edge of the track almost makes it possible to have a "flex edge" style track with out the actual track. But will it hurt the strength of the track in the long run?

And one more for you haha who ports their tracks on here? Center holes? All the way across? None at all? Why?

Thanks for reading the long post, and thanks for the reply's!

I can't say about flex edge but the powerclaw is amazing. The grip when sidehilling is incredible. The 2.25 is great the 2.6 is better

I put the Camoplast Peak 163" on my `06 Summit and it really hooks up well. The side-hilling is also very good. The down hill braking ,I don`t think is any better than my old track though. I drilled a 1" hole in between each of the paddles, directly down the center of the track, as I was getting to much compression up in the tunnel, and this seemed to work well and recovered alot of the track speed I lost. Other people around here I talked to that have the Peak really like it for the powder and the moutains, which is all of our riding.

I port every track I put on. Floatation doesn't seem to be an I only do the center. I have found a hole saw going in reverse works the best it melts everything so the cords don't fray. It smells really bad so I'd suggest doing it outside. I've never gone outside the rail because I was afraid of breaking the track. Usually use a bit between 1 and 1 1/4 inch.

I too run a Peaks track on my 09M8 and have been very happy with the results, it works very well in all conditions however braking is still less than I was hoping for...maybe I just need to work the brake better...it is still better than my PC 2.25 was. The track loves speed (track speed) however it will walk out of an area very well. My Peaks came with center porting.
