Track Question

I was in my trailer today and noticed a tear in my wifes track and I'm not really sure if it needs replaced or not, the tear is down to the cords and is almost the width of the track (worst by the lugs) I just need another opinion on it. I really don't want to get stranded this winter with a track torn in half. thanks guys.

Torn or sliced? If it's just down to the 1st row of cords, but not thru them, I'd think it'll be ok (assumign your wifes sled is not a 300hp Tapex or something). They make single ply tracks now, so that should hold up with some cut rubber. If it's through the cords much, I'd replace it. Can get used tracks for most machine pretty cheap.

what sled is that on? looks like the infamous yokohama 141 lug base cracks from a mountain max. if thats the case, it will go forever(seems like) without issues. got a freebie one of those about 10 years ago, stuck it on a sled and have put over three thousand miles on it. sled and track are still in service and holding up well.
