yeah, I agree with you on the engine performance part of it, I'm just wondering how well the 500 would pull a 144 with 2" paddles and if the clutch would hold up.The rail extensions will take care of the length addition but you also need to look at the height of the paddles and make sure there is enough clearance in the tunnel for the 2" paddles versus the stock .75". There are kits available to drop and roll your chaincase to create the clearance if its not already there. Once you have the clearance for the paddles and the length taken care of, it just performance issues with more track. You can adjust to your liking with chaincase gearing and also with clutch adjustments. Good luck with your project. My RMK didn't come with a 151" track but I sure would never go back now. I love it!!!!!!! Best money I ever spent on a upgrade for a sled.
