I saw an add in snowest magazine for a track porting tool. no price. I think the uni-bit will doo it, might have a buddy with one. i'll give the other guy a call for the choke cable as well.:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:D

I used a metal fence post. lined up the fin at the botton on teh edge of the paddles and drilled 3 small pilot holes ( I divided the inner portion of the track into thirds and used that). Drilled all of the pilot holes and then used a ground off 1 1/8" hole saw to port it. Do it outside cause the smoke and fumes are a killer (literally). Got it done in less than an hour, the track was off the sled, but could easily be done with it on the sled as well.

Ken, you're so anxious. I'll give ya mine this week. (I hope) If not akturbo owes me some beers for loosing it!

I think I bought mine from 4Z.

Is this worth doing on an 01 summit??If so what pattern should I use?2-2-2 or 2-3-2 or any other pattern?

i've seen some pretty swiss cheesed tracks. 1-3-1 would be cool. i have a hard time wanting to put to many holes in my track.
