Track Opinions

Looks like I'm gonna put another year on the 08 D7 Boondockers turbo. So my question is what is everyones opinion on which 155 track to put on it. Its got a stock Polaris on it now and I just don't think it works like it should.

I just installed a camoplast powder extreme on mine this year have not tried it yet, I felt the same way with my stock track last year it felt like it was bending the lugs over with the higher boost levels, especially in the spring snow. I had 2600 miles on my stocker.

I went with the 154" Peak on my '09 777 RMK. Figured WTH, I'll give it a try, it's only $40 more than the CE.

Powerclaw works awesome on the Raw chassis. And with Robbies new drivers, makes a sweet setup.

I'll be trying the new peak out on my xp 146 turbo, hopefully I like it. mine is back ordered till december some time

I think it is really a matter of how you ride, and more importantly where. The type of snow conditions that I priamrily ride in (CO, 10K' Plus, dry powder), I was actually pretty happy with the stock track on my '11 Pro Turbo RMK. It definitely doesnt do great in heavier snow (folds over), but I don't really worry about that, because, usually, if it's heavy snow here, it's Hero snow, and I'm gonna get to the top regardless. A CE would probably be a better climber in the same conditions, but I don't want the extra weight, and think it would actually be a downfall in the trees. I am interested to see how the Peak performs, as it does look like a cool design.

im gonna run the 174 x 3 with a timbersled rear and see how she does. hoping to run around 2.2 gear ratio.
