We are heading to the Anchorage area and I need to get ride of my stock ripsaw and put another track on her.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good track up there?

The new 141 x1.5" track on the 09 crossfires works good off trail, I rode one at Arctic man this year. would require rail extensions or a set back but I think it would be worth it.

Norther Power Sports found a 2'' x 136 for mine. I ride everywheres w it summit, turnagain, valdez. I also shortend the front limit straps.

Thanks guys, sorry I haven't posted a reply. We have been getting ready for our move to the Anchorage area. I was looking at the Challenger Lite Paddle Design 1.75 which would cut the middle between 1.5 and 2 inch..

I never converted so what exactly would be involved?

I had to put smaller drivers on mine. so the track would clear. pay the money for a good set of aftermarket drivers while your at it.. Where do you plan on ridding?

Will do with the drivers and as far as the riding goes... I only ever ran trails and some powder. We just don't have the powder down here like you do up there so it will be all new to me. So, I guess the answer is were the sled will take me and someone shows me

Where are you movin in from ? Have you done any other mods to ur xfire yet?

Coming from the Laurel Highlands area of PA..around Johnstown.. No mod's yet. I just got her this past February and only have 900 miles on her. I might have a guy who wants to swap his 144 suspension for my 136. That would be a nice deal for both of us.. he get's his short track 136 for his wife and I get a 144 with a paddle. For the most part she is straight stock.. I will probably put a pair powder pro's on her once I get up there in October.

You will be farther ahead if you can sell it before you move up here.. and then get a M-series up here if you want a 141+ sled. Your gonna wanna change out the gears, clutch upgrade if you swap frames. I suggest mbrp can, v force reeds and powder pro skis. I put risers and fly bars also.. just idea's....
