i have a 95 ski doo 583 and i want to extend the track. it has a 136 on it and i was thinking about a 146 or 154. how big of difference would it make and how much power loss would i have. what would be better.

That may be a lot of track for the 583, I have a 151 on my 670 and it does ok though.

the tracks you are referring to have a wider pitch 2.86. where your 136 has a 2.52. therefore changing the drivers will be necessary. i have been thinking about it also for a different brand to use the single ply track but finding extros to fit a 1 in shaft opposed to the larger hydroformed that the xp's use???? i dont know who makes the drivers. avid or wahls if you call them would probably be able to help us out.
