Track drilling??

What do you mean? That sounds crazy, why on earth would you do that? I bet if you searched this entire forum you couldn't find a single thread about it:o

Don't worry about Ridgerat, He's just jealous. Search for track porting and you should get a lot of posts. It was very popular 2 years ago along with big wheel kits. I have done both. I run extroverts and was able to get my track to run relatively loose and rotate very freely.
Be careful, people on here get very upset if you don't try the search button first.

Good luck,
Mutt

I guess I didn't search right, but I did a prior search and came up with nothing. So pipe down Ridgerat!!!:DI'll try again. Thanks for the input!!!

Alright alright...Just jerkin yur chain!:D

Sometimes searching doesn't work anyway! But there has been a few really good debates, how to's and general discussion threads about it around here over the last couple years. If you can manage to find those threads it will keep you busy reading a while.:beer;:beer;:beer;

I think the debate is pretty much over. Polaris and Ski Doo punch there tracks stock. I think that when it first started, people were a little over zealous with the amount of holes that they were drilling. My personal opinion is that 2 1 1/8" holes is about right. Any more or bigger doesn't really accomplish any more snow removal or make the track any more flexible. Just my .02
