ID...its a pretty simple adjustment...take your time..make sure you do every step very carefully ..and double check it 3-4 times to make sure you have it exactly right...once you are sure its right..reassemble..start it up..andrecheck it at idle while running...should be right on the number..if not..start over..it really is simple to do though...good luck....

oh yeah..make darn sure you use a quality multimeter...I let a friend use my tester(said he had a good meter) his ran worse after...when I checked it with my meter(a very good fluke meter) his settings were off..he was using a cheapy craftsman meter...

........ when the sync screw and spring are out i then set to the .70 vac then reinstall the spring not to sure need some more input please,

Pull the spring...then unscrew the set screw til it both plates make contact.....note your meter. Then re install the screw and adjust til meter is where you just noted.

From Mountainhorse thread:

9. Remove the synchronization lever tab spring (E) and gently open and then close the throttle plateswith the throttle, allowing
the plate to close gently. Note the voltage at this point.
10. Insert the synchronization lever tab spring and screw.
11. Turn the synchronization screw clockwise until the volt meter reads the voltage level that you noted in step #9.

Ok i'am headed out to work on it i just it back from the dealer and it has a new motor but it don't seem right to me. When i give it throttle just to move it it want's to bogg now it never never did that before. i called he said its because he put a qt of oil in the tank and there is not enough gas so i'am filling the tank and going to run it on the stand. Thanks for the help you guy's

well i think i got it it does strart better the throttle is more crisp and the idle is around 1750 1800 wich is alot better. It did take me longer because i had a screw up and had to pull the throttle bodys out but now will wait for snow. Thanks for all the help and support.

ok i let the sled sit for about 5 hrs and went out and started it it started on the 3rd pull like normal and sound good rpm are still at 1750-1800 rpm the only question i have is that when it did start that it poped a little in the exhaust like a back fire does this mean that the idle is set to high.

I went out this morning when cold and pulled the rope 2 pull's it fired up idle'd at 1700 and then idle'd up to 2200 for about 1 minute and down to 1650-1700 and pured like a kitty. Mine didn't back at all this morning went back out toninght pulled the 2 pulls and idle'd at 1650-1700. I think i got it. Before you shut it off rev it up a little and hit the kill switch see what happens.
