I think I have all the pieces to build one of these tester/setter things.... Just wondering if I have to get an extra TPS harness to use it? I know I probably could have read through a few hundred posts to find the answer, but I'm sure someone has 10 seconds to address it.:face-icon-small-win

when i bought the new TPS wiring harness, i used my old wiring and harness for the tps tester.

the new harness is only $28 i think..so worth replacing anyways, and do it..

or you could get a use harness off ebay if its cheap enough..i got one last year for $15

you don't have too it just makes it so much easier to set. you can use aligator clips if you like.

Get yourself mini alligator clips, they work fine. Save your TPS pigtails.

Project box
a few feet of wire
5 mini alligator clips
9v battery holder pigtail
5v regulator (I bought 4, only 1 of them throws out exactly 5.00v on a fresh 9v)

I should have all that stuff covered, even bought a better meter. What gauge wire would be good to get? Didn't see that on the shopping list.
